This setup class helps you address important business decisions that affect your system setup. We will be reviewing all the options that are available when a system is implemented. Learn what the choices were when your system was original designed. Learn how you can modify those choices. You'll have lab time and planning discussions to work through setup issues with instructors and other users who face similar challenges. Estimating Fundamentals & Database Fundamentals

This two-day class covers takeoff, the creation of an estimate, modification of estimates and reporting; database structure and customization, as well as creating items, item tables and formulas used with Sage Timberline Smart Assemblies. A course developed to discuss features found exclusively in Estimating Extended. A prerequisite for this class is our Estimating Fundamentals class, which covers the essential foundation of the software. After attending this course, you will be able to: create resources and crews, create labor and equipment rate tables, set up WBS codes and associated value libraries, and build intelligent assemblies. A comprehensive workbook and training database with estimates are provided for future reference. (Note: Class start time: 8:00 AM)

Property Management Workflow

These classes are designed for accounting managers, operators, and anyone who needs to understand routine workflow of AP, GL and PM for daily and monthly real estate accounting processing tasks. It is intended for an individual who wants to gain conceptual understanding and hands-on training of the processing requirements. With an emphasis on processing, only repetitive setup tasks (such as lease, vendor, and account) and those that impact ongoing workflow are covered.

Day 1: Covers GL & CM workflow processing with an emphasis on PM related issues.

Day 2: With an emphasis on typical daily and monthly processing tasks, this is a class designed for Lease Administrators or others who will be performing ongoing workflow responsibilities. Lease management, generating rents, entering and posting cash receipts, calculating management fees, and billing percentage rent are included in this class which focuses on intensive PM processing requirements.

Day 3 comes full circle with AP workflow processing.

You'll cover the design window, statement groups, entity comparisons, and learn how to use prefix groups to print statements for multiple layers of consolidation. The course will cover financial reports for internal and external uses. The second half of the day will cover using and modifying Inquiries, and using the Inquiry Designer tool.
