Business Process Review
In an effort to continually expand our services to our clients, FCA Technologies has added Business Process review. As many of our clients have been on Timberline for a number of years, we find that a review of the business can be very beneficial in terms of uncovering new opportunities for implementing processes which can empower the users.
We start with an overview within the organization of the process from Lead Call to Final Payment. We review all processes – within and without of Timberline. We look for opportunities for information sharing, and reduction in redundancy. We also consider opportunities for additional training as well as re-engineering existing workflow.
The over-all goal is not to throw out everything and start from scratch, but rather start with what is working – again within and without of Timberline – and look for opportunities to build on that, or integrate into areas which are not as efficient.
Once an overall evaluation is made, a Summary of Findings recommendation is presented to the Owner and Key staff. This is designed to be viewed in areas of responsibility, and is presented with both short term and long term recommendations for change.

Methodology
- Meet with Owners to discover areas of concern and future objectives.
- Meet with the key personnel fully understand their job functions. Interview each of them, as well as observe current business processes of each department.
- Follow Job workflow progress from bid start to final payment with emphasis on current tools currently used by personnel.
